12 Pack - White Quartzite, Metamorphic Rock Specimens - Approx. 1"
- WHITE QUARTZITE | Quartzite is formed from sandstone that has been tightly compressed to the point where the clasts have recrystallized to form a new rock. This formation mechanism, coupled the inherent strength of quartz, makes quartzite a very durable rock.
- GREAT FOR GEOLOGY CLASSROOMS | Useful in the classroom for lessons on metamorphic rocks. Ideal for identification & classification exercises. This set of six samples is excellent for group study and examination
- GEOLOGIST SELECTED | Each specimen is selected and hand processed by an actual geologist, ensuring each sample exhibits defining features
- LOCALLY PROCESSED | Our rock and mineral samples are sourced from a variety of locations around the world and are processed in Victor, NY
- LABELED PACKAGING | Samples are packaged in a transparent bag, labeled & barcoded for easy identification
