SKU PH0138D
- This Jolly's bulb is comprised of a hollow sphere, directly attached to a pressure gauge
- Made of high quality stainless steel
- Useful for exploring the relationship between pressure and temperature for an ideal gas
- Includes instructions, safety tips and experiment guide
- Great for classroom physics experiments
This Jolly's Bulb is comprised of a hollow sphere directly attached to a pressure gauge. The sphere is made of stainless steel and can be approximated to be of fixed volume under the range of temperatures that can be probed in most physics classrooms. When submerged in liquids of various temperatures, it is easy to measure the pressure and discover the relationship between pressure and temperature for an ideal gas.
The bulb measures approximately 3.15" in diameter, while the pressure gauge has a diameter of 3". In total, the apparatus stands 7.75" tall.
